Possessive Adjectives are used to describe a noun. They show possession by referring back to the possessor.
The Possessive Adjectives are:

Examples:
1. My sister's husband is a vegetarian. Her husband is a vegetarian.
2. Sam's daughter is a vegetarian too. His daughter is a vegetarian too.
3. We love our hamburgers and fries. Possessive adjectives are used with a noun.
Examples:
1. My name is Mary.
2. He lives with his parents.
3. Every week we clean our backyard.
Possessive pronouns are:
Mine
Yours
His
Hers
Its
Ours
Theirs
They are never used with a noun.
